Nam is originally from Nhatrang city in Vietnam, a beautiful coastal city similar to his current home of Vancouver.
Ever since he was a child, Nam held a true passion for travel and chose to follow in the footsteps of his mom who worked in the industry.
With many lessons already taught to him by her, he moved to Vancouver in 2018 to complete a master’s degree in hospitality management which he obtained in 2022.
In his free time, Nam loves playing badminton and travelling with his friends.
What is your favorite place in Canada?
If I had to pick just one place, I would say that Vancouver Island is my favorite as I love the nature of the island, the architecture of Victoria and the people there.
What is your best travel memory in Canada?
My best travel memory in Canada is the time I travelled to Niagara Falls. I actually didn’t like the busy experience around the falls too much, so we spent the rest of the day visiting Niagara village. I personally think it’s a hidden gem and far more worth a visit than the falls!
What one thing in Canada should you experience at least once in your life?
The northern lights!
