My planner this year was Paulina. I was very happy with her from start to finish. I did the same type of trip last year to Vancouver Sunshine Coast and Island and was very happy with the travel designer I had then too. Same with another trip earlier was to the Atlantic provinces. . On every trip we were very pleased with the outcome and the one or two tiny glitches that occurred were handled promptly and to a satisfactory conclusion. Being older our self drive touring days are probably over but I would definitely recommend this to anyone - but especially to young parents with families. Everything ran like clock work, the activities we did were extremely well organised, informative and above all fantastically enjoyable.

The whole experience was breathtaking and we appreciate the effort you put into organising the trip. We both loved the National Music Centre, especially the theatre organ there! We also loved the Maligne Lake cruise that we did when we were in Jasper. The accommodation was excellent and the rental car was perfect.

We chose Canada by Design in favor of a travel company in our own country, as we thought that the local experience would give us a better holiday. How right we were! We also saved ourselves a lot of money, as Jennifer's quote was much less expensive than the quote we received in Australia. We liaised with Jennifer by email many months before our trip, to organize our once-in-a-lifetime Christmas Snow Train adventure from Vancouver through Jasper, Lake Louise, Banff and, finally, Calgary. Jennifer and her colleagues provided us with an excellent standard of service, always prompt, friendly and efficient. All accommodation was of a high quality, with The Fairmont Castle at Banff being outstanding. We felt like we were living in a fairy-tale with the amazing scenery that we encountered all along the way. When we first arrived in Vancouver, we headed directly to the Canada by Design office because we wanted to meet Jennifer in person. We were given a tour of the office and greeted by the whole team. Jennifer continued to work for us during this meeting, by offering suggestions for our time in Vancouver before our train departed.

The marine specialists on the Prince of Whales boat were amazing — smart, passionate — and we had a day to remember. Maybe because of the gray weather, we hit the jackpot. We saw 20 orcas, yes 20! Then all of a sudden, a pod of humpback whales appeared behind the orcas.

My family recently completed the 7-day self-drive tour of Western Canada. Jennifer B. was absolutely fantastic helping me figure out how we wanted to customize our trip and making suggestions. She was always so patient with my many questions, too! The lodgings that this trip placed us at were more than wonderful. We particularly liked Deer Lodge at Lake Louise. It is a beautiful historic lodge, just a few minutes walk from the Fairmount. All aspects of the tour were problem-free, and I really feel that the cost of the tour was very reasonable, especially for the quality experience we had. I highly recommend Jennifer and Canada by Design to anyone who wants to visit Western Canada!!
