Day 1 Vancouver to Queen Charlotte Lodge | Flight + Guided Fishing
Meet at Vancouver Airport’s South Terminal early on Monday morning for a 75-minute chartered Boeing 737 jet flight to the small town of Masset on Haida Gwaii. From here you will board an executive style Sikorsky 12-person helicopter for a short 15-minute flight, landing literally on the front lawn of the resort. Enjoy a quick resort orientation session and brunch, then head down to the resort dock and get suited up for some guided or self-guided fishing! Later in the day, return for fish weighing at the famous Bell Ringer Bar and then head up for dinner.
Day 2 - 3 Queen Charlotte Lodge | Guided Fishing
Choose a time to head out on the water with or without a guide. Breakfast starts at 4:00 am for the real keeners! Put together your lunch, snacks and beverages from a fully stocked lunch buffet and then head out to fish until 8 pm on the grounds. Unique to QCL is the 100 ft. M.V Driftwood, a converted and modernized tug boat that is anchored on the grounds and accessible for your lunch needs. Enjoy a full BBQ on the go as well as the finest floating bar in Haida Gwaii, then stretch your legs, take a body break and relax. Head back on to the water until you decide to return to the resort. Bell Ringer and then dinner – here’s to another great day.
Day 4 or Day 5 Queen Charlotte Lodge to Vancouver | Flight
Today you will depart from the resort around 9:00 am by helicopter back to Masset. Catch another charter flight back to Vancouver by Boeing Jet and arrive around 12:30 pm.
