The lake is stunning in colour which is created from glacial silt and is one of the most photographed lakes in the Canadian Rockies. The area offers an array of activities; you can rent a canoe, take a stroll along the shoreline, or simply relax at the lodge and take in the views of what is considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the world.

Day 6 Jasper to Lake Louise | Columbia Icefields Heli-Tour | 208 km/129 miDepart Jasper today and travel once more along the scenic Icefields Parkway, today you will see the Rockies from a different prospective with the most awe-inspiring 55 minutes of your life! Deep in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, you’ll lift off to an incredible view of the Columbia Icefields and soar at a cool 100mph, 9000 ft (2900m) over Cline Pass. Then continue on to the “Jewel of the Rockies,” Lake Louise. Lake Louise is the most famous glacial lake in the Canadian Rockies, and one of the most beautiful in the Western Hemisphere. The lake, named for Princess Louise Caroline Alberta, daughter of Queen Victoria, is 1730 metres above sea level.
