Vivian came to Canada from her home in China to complete her undergraduate and graduate degrees.
Her passion for travel inspired her to stay and apply her master’s in Business Analytics to the travel industry and share the experience of discovering local cultures, scenic landscapes, and relaxing in nature with new (and old) visitors.
When not at work, Vivian likes walking her 2-year-old Maltipoo, dancing, and skiing.
What is your favorite place in Canada?
It’s too hard just to choose one! Kitsilano Beach in Vancouver has gorgeous sea views (especially at sunrise and sunset). But I also love Whistler and Cypress Mountain’s snowy landscapes and excellent skiing. And another favorite of mine is Quebec City in Quebec because of its quaint old-town ambiance complete with architecture castles. There’s just so many!
What is your best travel memory in Canada?
One of my most cherished travel memories is my visit to Quebec City. The city's cobblestone streets, historic castles, and picturesque old town left a lasting impression on me. Immersing myself in the French-Canadian culture and history made the experience unforgettable.
What one thing in Canada should you experience at least once in your life?
I believe that deep-sea fishing is a must-try experience in Canada. It offers a really unique opportunity to connect with nature, enjoy Canada’s stunning coastal waters, and create lasting memories of adventure and discovery.
