National Parks and Historic Sites Of Canada’s 19 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, four can be found in Newfoundland and Labrador – Gros Morne National Park, L’Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site, Mistaken Point Ecological Reserve and Red Bay National Historic Site. All offer spectacular scenery as well as a wealth of historic interest or wildlife attractions, and provide a real sense of awe in the remoteness.
