Originally from Rome, Eleonora came to Canada in 2022, to pursue her passion for travel and gain a post-secondary education in Travel & Tourism Business Management at the Canadian Tourism College.
Following her graduation, her love of the tourism industry led her to her role at Discover Holidays.
Eleonora (naturally) loves travelling, but also hiking, cooking, and reading as many books as she can.
What is your favorite place in Canada?
Lake Louise is my favorite place in Canada so far. I really enjoyed the view and hiking around the lake was stunning.
What is your best travel memory in Canada?
My journey onboard the Rocky Mountaineer was amazing. I will never forget seeing Mount Robson from the train, and the changing colours of the fall landscape. Travelling by train in Europe is quite different, mostly related to getting to the destination, but here you really enjoy the train itself. It was a journey of a lifetime — I will never forget it.
What one thing in Canada should you experience at least once in your life?
Canada has everything, and I want to see as many natural wonders as possible across all of Canada. I haven’t been yet, but Nova Scotia especially looks like a special and unique place to go. I would love to make it a part of my journey.
